August 13 thru 21 2003,We drove to Santa Barbara, stayed at el Prado
Hotel, in the heart of the
town, picnicked on the Pacific Ocean, ate Anderson's Pea soup at Buelton,Drove
to Dove Canyon near Mission Viejo, to stay with Lisa and Bob Tarlton for tw0
days, dinner with Lloyd Roma and Barbara (their friend) along with Elinor
cousins.
Drove to Coronado to se an old friend and to visit the Hotel Del and the church
where Elinor sang in Coronado.
Drove to the border and took the bus to Tijuana, Mexico for a wonderful dinner
at la Costa on Revoluction Av.
On to Ramona to see my sister in law, stayed at the Ramona Valley Inn, took
Nancy, Bill, Isabella out for breakfast,
also Micheal working at the Orchard grocery store.
Drove to Santa Barbara for another stay at El Prado Hotel where we had our
picnic and breakfast at the pool,
and another refreshing swim, then we drove to Solvang, a Danish community for
lunch and bought wonderful pastries for
Elinor's neibgbors who watered the yard and plants while we were gone, a really
